The word processor functions similar to other common word processors. The menu contains standard items such as new document, print and open document.
What differentiates the word processor in BlissOnline is the menu Below a symbol. Here it is decided whether the text should be placed above or below the symbol or if the document should be text free.
The arrows indicate the size of the symbol. M is medium. It is also possible to select a larger size of L or XL or a smaller size of S or XS.
|Write||Start by writing on the line under the menu. Finish each word with a space or wait for half a second and choose a bliss word from a pop-up list.|
|Remove||A bliss word can easily be deleted by pressing Backspace.|
|New line||Insert a line-break by pressing Enter after a bliss word.|
|Insert a word||Click between two bliss words to move the text input cursor. Write a word of your choice.|
|Running text||It is possible to copy text from another document and the paste it into the word processor. Right click the document and select paste. Edit where needed.|
|Save||The document is saved automatically. Choose Save in the menu. Provide a file name in the Save file dialog and finish by clicking the Save button.|
|Open||Choose open in the menu. Select a file and the click on the Open button.|
|Choose print in the menu. Select print format. The files is saved either as an SVG or PDF. You will need to open the saved file to print it out.|
|Compound words||Compound words such as good bye, are automatically compounded.|
|Select a bliss word from a list||Some times a list of alternatives is displayed next to the word which has been typed. Select a bliss word by clicking on it in the list. A selection can also be made by using the arrow keyboard buttons and then pressing enter.|
|Merge bliss words||Write for example shoe + lace. Hit the space bar. The symbols will be compounded into a symbol. It is also possible to compound multiple symbols.|
|Edit text||Click on a bliss word. A text input will be displayed. Edit the text to your liking.|
|Combine a word with a letter.||Write a bliss word, for example city. Then type + S and press the space bar. Edit the text under the symbol to the city name proper. The same method can be used on other symbols such as teacher, assistant and friend.|
|Grammar||If you use a bliss word which is inclined it will most often be displayed as text only and not as a symbol. In these cases, click on the text and select "show inclinations". Then click on the required grammatical form.|
|Text||Typed words are normally interpreted as bliss words. Use a ' before a text to force it to be interpreted as text, for example boy + 'A.|
